		<description>Oh lord.  I am sitting here reading this post with tears in my eyes because I relate. My spouse is living with dark storm clouds over his head because of a similar upbringing and it&#039;s draining that he doesn’t want to help himself through storms. We&#039;ve been through storms where we both rained wet and just about manage to dry, sometimes damp, depends if the Sun comes out or not.  
I&#039;ve read to him excerpts from The Superior Man by David Deida which seems to have made the situation worse for him but clearer for me.  If there is a way, I will find it, for my own sanity if nothing else.

I applaud you for taking on this worthwhile challenge.
