Ramon Thomas & Faces of Hope Foundation present a special charity movie screening in Joburg of “The Ultimate Gift“, a 2006 movie based on a novel by the same name.
The event promises to have a host of exciting activities to look forward to, and you are supporting a good cause while doing so. As South Africa’s leading expert on the psychology of technology and online safety for families, I take pride in our social responsibility through the partnership with Faces of Hope Foundation in Johannesburg. This is a charity that supports people diagnosed with bone cancer. There will be a ton of opportunities to meet interesting people.
The movie will be screened on Thursday, 29 October 2009, @ the Zone in Rosebank. There will be lucky draws for hampers and giveaways from Eyes Slices, cocktails from Original Iced cocktails to welcome you. Stunning prizes include holiday accommodation, a mini auction for the signed copies of the book by the author Jim Stovall and an R1000 voucher for Amrita Medi Health Spa in Krugersdorp. Some beautiful flowers presented from OS Flowers, the florist owned by my neighbour Rozan Ramprasad; a Melrose Aesthetic Centre voucher to the value of R5000; and much more.
The event starts at 18:00 for 18:30 with welcome drinks and snacks. Ramon Thomas will be the MC for the evening. Everyone is to be seated at 19:15. Then there will be giveaways and our auction, hosted by David James aka Koobus from the hit international movie District 9 – which will be filled with wonderful prizes.
The Ultimate Gift charity movie screening in Johannesburg starts @ 20:00. The movie is a truly inspirational film which will have you captivated. Movie critic Barry Ronge may make an appearance, and other celebs have confirmed their support and interest in this event. Please support this great event for a great cause.
