Worldspace Radio received from TEDGlobal 2007 Fellowship

Yesterday I received my first Worldspace Radio. This is thanks to the generous sponsorship by Worldspace to all the TEDGlobal 2007 Fellows. The Worldspace Satellite Radio service was founded by Noah Samara in 1990 with a particular focus to services the world where coverage of terrestrial radio is difficult or non-existent. I was trying to delay my gratification but I opened the box this morning because I just couldn’t resist the temptation any more. One surprise for me was that I didn’t realise I would have to take out a subscription to be able to listen to the radio. This is like your DStv decoder system for satellite television channels. We’ll see how I can make use of this amazing gift shortly…

Hi Ramon, I only get a pension of R1000.+ a month.I pay off a house bond every month, sharp. I desperitaly want to start an online business with a very small amount in dollers (R300.+)but need a credit card to do so (everything goes credit wise) Can u PLEASE help me here because my pension is just not enough for a longterm livingstyle in our country today. I HAVE to make xtra money! thankyou SO much. Ms M E Lourens

  • You do not need a credit card. When you sign up for Google Adsense or Amazon Associates they will send you a cheque. With Kalahari.net they will deposit directly into your bank account. So before you can make money you need to identify what value you can add to other people’s lives by writing about it. You have to select a topic which other people want to read about it. I recommend you read Steve Pavlina’s blog and listen to all his podcasts.
